This range of traditional knives is manufactured to exacting Japanese standards and crafted from the highest quality Molybdenum Vanadium Stainless Steel. They have a more contemporary look with their black Hoe wood handles and two steel rivets.

With single sided blades they offer exceptional quality at an affordable price. As a result of the expert Japanese heat treatment, the Masahiro Tradition Collection achieves a Rockwell hardness of 60:61. Whilst the masterful hand sharpening creates an edge of extreme sharpness.

Easier to resharpen than most Stainless Steel knives, the hardness helps edge endurance. These knives will commonly keep their edges at least twice as long as most Stainless Steel.
