This 130mm (~5 ¼") fish & meat black ceramic knife is the most popular model of this collection. The black ceramic knife is fired at an immensely high temperature using a unique closely guarded secret system known as "Hot-Isostatic-Press" which compresses the material to such a high density that it appears to be black, in fact no dye is used. This lengthy and extremely perilous process involves skill and precision so the production of these amazing blades is limited to one black for every 75 white of the same size.
This 130mm (~5 ¼") knife is the most popular size of knife. Long enough to undertake most jobs, it is the perfect size for slicing and dicing. The super sharp blade will also easily cope with small carving and meat and fish preparation tasks.
You will be amazed at the ease with which this very light and super sharp knife will glide through tomatoes, kiwis and other soft fruits. Raw potatoes will cut as if boiled!
With its Advanced Zirconium Ceramic blade capable of staying sharper up to 15 times longer than conventional Stainless Steel knives - this knife will require almost no effort to keep sharp. Will not influence the colour or taste of food - so no more unsightly brown lettuce!
